Multi-modes Waveform Optimization Design Method for MIMO Radar

摘要: 在多目標(biāo)多任務(wù)情況下,通常要求雷達(dá)具有多種工作模式,以實(shí)現(xiàn)搜索、跟蹤等不同功能。傳統(tǒng)雷達(dá)在某一時(shí)刻只能實(shí)現(xiàn)一種功能,工作模式不夠靈活,很難高效利用系統(tǒng)資源。針對(duì)此問(wèn)題,該文提出一種MIMO雷達(dá)多模式波形設(shè)計(jì)方法,該方法以方向圖逼近、期望方向的信號(hào)功率譜或頻譜逼近等為準(zhǔn)則,在恒模約束下建立關(guān)于波形矩陣的多目標(biāo)優(yōu)化模型,并采用共軛梯度方法進(jìn)行優(yōu)化求解。仿真結(jié)果表明,所設(shè)計(jì)波形在空域上具有多波束方向圖,波束指向上的信號(hào)具有多種工作模式的特性,可以同時(shí)實(shí)現(xiàn)搜索、跟蹤等功能。

Abstract: In the scenario of multiple targets and multiple tasks, radar should have multiple functions to realize different modes, such as search and tracking. Traditional radar can only implement one function and the working mode is not flexible, which may result in inefficient use of the system resources. In this paper, a MIMO radar waveform design method is proposed to realize multiple modes. Based on the criterions of beampattern matching, power spectrum matching in the desired direction or frequency spectrum matching, a multi-objective optimization model for the waveform matrix with constant modulus constraint is established, and is solved by the conjugate gradient method. The numerical results show that the optimized waveforms have multiple beams and different modes in the beam directions, which can simultaneously realize search, tracking and so on.-
