摘要: 現(xiàn)有多輸入多輸出(MIMO)雷達(dá)發(fā)射方向圖設(shè)計(jì)是通過優(yōu)化信號相關(guān)矩陣來逼近期望方向圖,可采用凸優(yōu)化方法求解,但其計(jì)算量較大,不利于工程實(shí)現(xiàn)。針對上述問題,該文提出一種循環(huán)迭代的MIMO雷達(dá)發(fā)射方向圖設(shè)計(jì)方法。該方法以加權(quán)最小二乘為準(zhǔn)則,通過引入輔助變量,將對信號相關(guān)矩陣的優(yōu)化問題轉(zhuǎn)化為關(guān)于其Hermite平方根的二次優(yōu)化問題,再以循環(huán)迭代的方式進(jìn)行求解。對于均勻線陣,當(dāng)采用均勻加權(quán)且離散化方位角在歸一化空間頻率域均勻采樣時(shí),可采用快速傅里葉變換(FFT)的方式進(jìn)行求解,進(jìn)一步提高計(jì)算效率。仿真結(jié)果表明,該方法所得發(fā)射方向圖可以很好地逼近期望方向圖,且具有較高的實(shí)時(shí)性。

Abstract: Transmit beampattern design for Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) radar is obtained by synthesizing the signal covariance matrix, which can be achieved by convex optimization approaches. Due to the high computational complexity, these approaches are not easy for practical implementation. In this paper, a cyclic iterative method for MIMO radar transmit beampattern design is proposed. Based on the weighted least square criterion, signal covariance matrix can be obtained by optimizing the quadratic cost function with respect to its Hermite square root. For the uniform linear array, especially when the sampling grid in normalized spatial frequency is uniform and the weights for grid points are the same, FFT can be used to further reduce the computational complexity of the proposed algorithm. Simulation results show that the resulting beampattern matches the desired pattern closely and the proposed algorithm is efficient for the real time application.-
