Modeling Sea Clutter in Radar Scanning Mode by Multifractional Brownian Motion

摘要: 為了提高航海雷達(dá)目標(biāo)檢測(cè)性能,該文主要研究多分形布朗運(yùn)動(dòng)在掃描模式下雷達(dá)海雜波分形建模中的應(yīng)用。該文驗(yàn)證實(shí)測(cè)海雜波數(shù)據(jù)具有非對(duì)稱和尖峰厚尾的非高斯統(tǒng)計(jì)分布,并且具有分形特性;同時(shí)也證實(shí)實(shí)測(cè)數(shù)據(jù)在一定的情況下滿足多分形布朗運(yùn)動(dòng)的假設(shè)條件。在此基礎(chǔ)上,利用多分形布朗運(yùn)動(dòng)對(duì)實(shí)測(cè)數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行建模,計(jì)算得到隨時(shí)間變化的Hlder函數(shù),結(jié)果顯示不同距離區(qū)域的Hlder指數(shù)是不同的,目標(biāo)處的Hlder指數(shù)大于海雜波處的H?lder指數(shù)。該文研究結(jié)果對(duì)后續(xù)目標(biāo)檢測(cè)方法的提出具有很大的幫助作用。

Abstract: To improve the detection performance of marine radar, the application of multifractional Brownian motion to modeling the radar sea clutter in the scanning mode is studied. It is verified that real sea clutter data submit to a non-Gaussian distribution with asymmetry, high peak and heavy tail, and have fractal characteristics. In some cases the assumption of multifractional Brownian motion for the real data is satisfied. On the basis of this analysis, the real data are modeled by using the multifractional Brownian motion, and the time-dependent Hlder function of the real data is calculated. The results show that the Hlder exponents of different regions are not the same, and the Hlder exponent of target is significantly larger than that of the sea clutter. The research results are helpful to design a reliable detection method.-
