復(fù)錸膜陰極的發(fā)射和表面特性
EMISSION AND SURFACE CHARACTERISTICS OF A DISPENSER CATHODE COATED WITH RHENIUM

摘要: 本文報(bào)道了復(fù)錸膜擴(kuò)散陰極的發(fā)射和表面特性的研究結(jié)果,并與S-型陰極進(jìn)行了比較。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明:S-型陰極復(fù)錸膜后,其熱電子發(fā)射明顯提高,且分布均勻。月極表面上主要元素的俄歇像顯示Ba在復(fù)錸膜陰極表面上的分布要比在S-型陰極表面上均勻得多,Ba的低能Auger譜和XPS的研究表明:與S-型陰極相比Ba在復(fù)錸膜陰極表面上呈現(xiàn)更強(qiáng)的金屬特性。這可能是S-型陰極復(fù)錸膜后發(fā)射增大的主要原因。

Abstract: The emission and surface characteristics of a dispenser cathode coaled with Re are studied. It is found that the dispenser cathode coated with Re has both higher current density and more uniform distribution of emission than the S type cathode. The Auger images of Ba show tha: the Ba distribution on the surface of the cathode coated with Re is more uniform than that on the surface of the S type cathode. The analytical results by XPS and low energy AES show that the Ba on the surface of the cathode coated with Re has stronger metallic property than thar on the surface of the S type cathode. -
