An Adaptive Spatio-Temporal Concealment Method Using Fuzzy Classifing and Mesh Warping

摘要

摘要: 當(dāng)視頻傳輸中出現(xiàn)不能恢復(fù)的誤碼或丟包時(shí)，在接收端就要使用差錯(cuò)掩蓋技術(shù)對損壞的視頻進(jìn)行掩藏。該文提出了一種基于模糊聚類和網(wǎng)格變形的自適應(yīng)差錯(cuò)掩蓋方法，使得錯(cuò)誤恢復(fù)效果提高。該方法首先用基于時(shí)-空的模糊聚類塊匹配方法補(bǔ)償平移運(yùn)動(dòng)場景中的塊丟失，然后如果檢測出丟失塊所在的空間有旋轉(zhuǎn)、縮放等復(fù)雜運(yùn)動(dòng)，則用基于網(wǎng)格變形的方法進(jìn)行補(bǔ)償。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明其PSNR值比Luigi(2001)的BMA-MBW方法平均提高約1.5dB，比傳統(tǒng)的基于塊匹配的方法平均提高約3.5dB。

Abstract: When bit errors occur during transmission and cannot be corrected by an error correction scheme, error concealment is needed to mask damaged image at receiver. In this paper, a spatio-temporal error concealment algorithm based on fuzzy classify and mesh warping method is presented. The algorithm include two steps: First , the error blocks which are in the situation of pure translation are reconstructed. If the complicated motion such as rotation and zoom in or out is detected , the internal texture of each block is warped by a mesh-based affine transform, in order to comply with nontranslation. Experimental results show that the PSNR has been improved 1.5dB than the BMA-MBW, and 3.5dB than the BMA.
