AN ACCURATE FORMULA FOR CUTOFF VALUES OF TE WAVES ON NONLINEAR SLAB OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE

摘要: 本文推導(dǎo)了計(jì)算非線性薄膜對(duì)稱平板光波導(dǎo)TE模截止值的精確公式。給出了兩個(gè)例子,計(jì)算結(jié)果與文獻(xiàn)的結(jié)果吻合。本文的方法具有計(jì)算簡(jiǎn)單,適用范圍廣的特點(diǎn)。

Abstract: An accurate formula is derived for cutoff values of TE modes in the symmetric slab optical waveguide with a nonlinear thin film. Two examples are given. Computed results are in agreement with exact results in literatures. -
