光突發(fā)交換網(wǎng)絡(luò)中基于波長分集的QoS算法
QoS Algorithms Based on Wavelength Grouping in Optical Burst Switching Networks

摘要: 光突發(fā)交換(Optical Burst Switching, OBS)被公認(rèn)為是構(gòu)建下一代光網(wǎng)絡(luò)的有效交換技術(shù)。在OBS網(wǎng)絡(luò)中有效地支持QoS (Quality of Service)是一個(gè)很重要的問題。該文從波長分集的思想出發(fā),提出了幾種適合OBS的QoS算法。這些算法可以根據(jù)各個(gè)優(yōu)先級(jí)業(yè)務(wù)的變化情況,動(dòng)態(tài)地調(diào)整各個(gè)優(yōu)先級(jí)的業(yè)務(wù)使用的波長數(shù)目。通過仿真,并和已有算法相比,說明所提出的算法可以更好地提供區(qū)分服務(wù),同時(shí)有效提高信道的利用率,降低整體的丟失率。

Abstract: Optical Burst Switching (OBS) is considered as an efficient switching technique for the next generation optical networks. QoS (Quality of Service) support is an important issue in OBS networks. This paper focuses mainly on the QoS algorithms based on wavelength grouping schemes, and proposes several new QoS algorithms. These algorithms can adjust the wavelengths used in each class dynamically, according to the variation of its traffic. Simulation results and comparisons with the existing algorithms show that these algorithms can provide better differentiated service, decrease the burst loss probability and improve the channel utilization. -
