基于感興趣區(qū)的MPEG-4 FGS增強(qiáng)層碼率分配算法

摘要: 該文提出了一種基于感興趣區(qū)的MPEG-4 FGS增強(qiáng)層碼率分配算法。該算法在建立一種針對感興趣區(qū)的率失真模型的基礎(chǔ)上,在等質(zhì)量的約束條件下,可以實(shí)現(xiàn)選擇性增強(qiáng)后FGS增強(qiáng)層碼率的優(yōu)化分配。實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明,與平均碼率分配算法相比,該算法可以顯著降低視頻圖像中人眼感興趣區(qū)域重建質(zhì)量的波動。同時,該算法的計(jì)算復(fù)雜度低,完全能滿足視頻服務(wù)器實(shí)時碼率分配的要求。Abstract: A ROI-based rate allocation algorithm for the MPEG-4 FGS enhancement layer is proposed in this paper. On the basis of the ROI-oriented rate-distortion model, the proposed algorithm can perform optimal rate allocation for the enhancement layer after selective enhancement under equal image quality constraint. The experimental results show that, compared with the conventional average rate allocation algorithm, the proposed algorithm can significantly eliminate the quality fluctuation of ROI. Simultaneously, the computational complexity of the proposed method is low enough to meet the requirements of the real time rate allocation at the video server.
