H.264中基于先驗(yàn)預(yù)測(cè)的幀間編碼模式選擇算法研究

摘要: 幀間編碼的模式選擇算法是H.264視頻編碼器中計(jì)算量較大的部分。該文首先簡(jiǎn)要介紹了H.264幀間多模式編碼原理,然后對(duì)幀間編碼的最佳模式進(jìn)行統(tǒng)計(jì)、分析,提出了一種基于先驗(yàn)預(yù)測(cè)的幀間編碼模式選擇快速算法。仿真實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果表明該文提出的快速模式選擇策略可以在保證視頻編碼質(zhì)量的同時(shí),很大程度上降低編碼器的計(jì)算復(fù)雜度。

Abstract: Interframe video coding mode decision algorithm is one of the most complex part in H.264 encoder. In this paper, the theory of variable block-size motion compensation in H.264 is given and the best mode statistical law of inter-frame video coding is analyzed at first. Then a novel fast mode decision algorithm based on prior detection is presented. The results of simulation test show that the proposed fast mode decision strategy can highly improve the efficiency of real time H.264 encoder while maintaining video coding quality. -
