A Low Complexity Blind SNR Estimator in Mobile Communication

摘要: 信噪比估計(jì)器(Signal-to-Noise Ratio Estimator,SNRE)可用于移動(dòng)通信中的多個(gè)領(lǐng)域,例如LDPC碼軟譯碼器中就需要信道信噪比以用于計(jì)算接收碼字的先驗(yàn)信息。該文在一種加性白高斯噪聲(Additive White Gaussian Noise,AWGN)信道中在線SNRE的基礎(chǔ)上,推出一種低復(fù)雜度的衰落信道盲信噪比估計(jì)器 (Fading channel Blind SNRE,F(xiàn)BSNRE)。仿真結(jié)果表明FBSNRE在應(yīng)用于LDPC碼譯碼器時(shí)具有較好的性能。

Abstract: SNRE (Signal-to-Noise Ration Estimator) can be used in a lot of areas in mobile communication, such as the decoder of LDPC code which need it to compute the a priori information of received bits. In this paper, a low complexity blind SNRE, FBSNRE (Fading channel Blind SNRE), based on the online estimator in AWGN channel, is presented. Simulation results prove that FBSNRE cam achieve excellent performance when it is applied in the decoder of LDPC code. -
