AN ALGORITHM FOR DETERMINING BIT DROPPING THRESHOLDS OF AAL2 PACKET VOICE MULTIPLEXER

摘要: 該文研究了帶比特丟棄的AAL2分組話音復(fù)接器緩沖器隊(duì)列門限值的確定方法,提出用話音分組作為緩沖器隊(duì)列門限值的單位,給出了確定門限值的計(jì)算公式,并對(duì)輸出鏈路容量為384kb/s的情況進(jìn)行了計(jì)算機(jī)仿真。仿真結(jié)果表明,作者提出的門限值的確定方法可獲得較小的平均分組時(shí)延和較低的平均分組丟失率,計(jì)算簡(jiǎn)便,易于實(shí)現(xiàn),是一種很好的確定緩沖器隊(duì)列門限值的方法。

Abstract: This paper describes two kinds of AAL2 packet voice multiplexers based on input and output bit dropping. An algorithm for determining the bit dropping thresholds using the number of voice packets to determine the thresholds is presented with relevant computation formula. The computer simulation results show that the algorithm presented here is good for determining the bit dropping thresholds with low packet delay and small packet loss probability and easy operation. -
