A NEW CONGESTION CONTROL POLICY FOR THE INTERNETWORKS

摘要: 本文詳細(xì)討論了互連網(wǎng)絡(luò)擁擠控制;指出了一般網(wǎng)絡(luò)內(nèi)擁擠控制方法不能成功地應(yīng)用于互連網(wǎng)絡(luò)的原因。首次提出了一種新的互連網(wǎng)絡(luò)的擁擠控制方法,它視互連網(wǎng)絡(luò)為一黑匣,完全利用互連設(shè)備網(wǎng)間連接器(Gateway)的功能進(jìn)行擁擠控制。計算和模擬分析驗證了該方法的突出特性,并與R。Jain(1986)提出的擁擠控制法進(jìn)行了比較。Abstract: This paper discusses the distinction between internetworks and single network in the congestion control. It has shown the reason why all of single network s congestion controls are not suitable to internetworks. A new congestion control scheme for internetworks is presented which uses the acknowledgments of the timeouts and the feedback signal from the gateway as the indications of packet loss and congestion. Using a black-box model of the internetworks, the author derives several approximate calculating formulas and proves the schemes special characters by computer simulation. It is shown that the presented method is better than R. Jains method(1986).
