Heuristic algorithms for locating the wavelength converters in WDM network

  • 摘要: 該文首次研究了波分復用(Wavelength Division Multiplex,WDM)網(wǎng)絡中如何在最佳節(jié)點中確定波長變換器數(shù)目的算法,設計了3種啟發(fā)式算法,通過在NSFNET(the U.S.NationalScience Foundation backbone NETwork,美國科學基金會骨干網(wǎng)絡),ARPANBT(the AdvancedResearch Projects Agency NETwork,美國高級研究規(guī)劃局網(wǎng)絡),CERNET(China Educationand Research NETwork,中國教育科研網(wǎng)絡)上的仿真,比較了3種算法的性能差異,得出算法1的性能最優(yōu),且復雜度最低。另外,通過比較在部分節(jié)點以及全部節(jié)點中運用算法1確定波長變換器的數(shù)目,得出:在WDM網(wǎng)絡中,在部分節(jié)點中裝配有限的波長變換器也可以達到全部節(jié)點中裝備波長變換器的性能,并且還可以降低光交叉連接設備(Optical Cross-Connects,OXC)的成本,減少復雜的控制。
