A Channel Assignment Scheme for Hot Spot in Cellular Mobile Communication System

摘要: 基于提出的最優(yōu)組合業(yè)務(wù)量預(yù)測模型,對下一時刻的業(yè)務(wù)量進行預(yù)測,從而確定蜂窩系統(tǒng)中業(yè)務(wù)分布情況,據(jù)此將蜂窩小區(qū)分成冷點區(qū)域和熱點區(qū)域,并提出一種優(yōu)化的混合信道分配(OHCA)方案,分析并給出了該方案中動靜信道比的定量關(guān)系。仿真結(jié)果證實了該最優(yōu)組合預(yù)測模型較單一預(yù)測方法降低了預(yù)測誤差、提高了預(yù)測精度,同時該優(yōu)化分配算法較固定信道分配(FCA)和動態(tài)信道分配(DCA)方案,有較小的呼阻率和較高的頻譜利用率,該策略可用來有效處理熱點業(yè)務(wù)問題,有較好的應(yīng)用前景。

Abstract: The traffic load is estimated based on the optimally combined traffic load forecasting model for cellular mobile communications system, The results are then used to derive the hot cells and cold cells due to the Quality of Service (QoS) requirement, an Optimized Hybrid Channel Assignment (OHCA) scheme is proposed and the ratio of active channels and static channels is derived. The analysis indicates that the ratio is bounded by the traffic fluctuation and QoS requirement. Simulation results show that the forecasting model can reduce the prediction error and yield higher forecasting precision compared to using only one method, and OHCA is shown to be superior to the current FCA and DCA in terms of call blocking probability and spectrum utilization. The scheme can be used to handle the hot spot case, and is therefore an attractive scheme for practical systems. -
