Computing Correlation Coefficients of Bluetooth Combiner

  • 摘要: 藍(lán)牙組合生成器是藍(lán)牙協(xié)議中使用的密鑰流生成算法,它是一個帶4 bit記憶的非線性組合生成器,其輸入和輸出之間相關(guān)系數(shù)的表示和計算是一個困難的問題,而這是對這種生成器進(jìn)行相關(guān)性分析和相關(guān)攻擊的基礎(chǔ).該文對一般的帶記憶組合生成器給出了相關(guān)系數(shù)和條件相關(guān)系數(shù)的計算公式,該公式易于實現(xiàn)快速計算.基于此公式計算了藍(lán)牙組合生成器的各種相關(guān)系數(shù),并列出了部分結(jié)果.
    Abstract: The bluetooth combiner, a combiner with four bit memory, is the stream cipher used in bluetooth protocols. The expression and computation of correlation coefficients between inputs and outputs of this combiner is difficult, while this is the base of correlation analysis and correlation attack to it. In this paper, the formulas for correlation coefficients and conditional correlation coefficients of general combiners with memory are presented, with which the coefficients can be computed fast. By using these formulas, all kinds of correlation coefficients ofbluetooth combiner are computed, and some results are list in the paper.
