A Study of Self-adaptive Transmission for Integrated Voice and Data Services over an IEEE 802.11 WLAN

  • 摘要: IEEE 802.11標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中的MAC協(xié)議當(dāng)采用DCF和PCF時(shí)是一種隨機(jī)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)接入與輪詢相結(jié)合的協(xié)議。該文通過(guò)仿真在分析研究此MAC協(xié)議對(duì)語(yǔ)音、數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)綜合傳輸性能的基礎(chǔ)上,提出了一種支持語(yǔ)音與數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)的自適應(yīng)傳輸方案。仿真結(jié)果表明,在滿足語(yǔ)音業(yè)務(wù)最大允許時(shí)延的前提下,自適應(yīng)傳輸方案通過(guò)動(dòng)態(tài)、合理地調(diào)整協(xié)議參數(shù),可以提高數(shù)據(jù)業(yè)務(wù)的傳輸性能,從而增加網(wǎng)絡(luò)容量。特別地,本方案不需要改動(dòng)協(xié)議本身,易于實(shí)現(xiàn)。
